If you have never heard me say it before you will hear it now. I LOVE TECHNOLOGY! I absolutely do. So when I discovered that I could use other software apps to help run my business and create efficiency too, I wanted to implement them all. But there are so many. I couldn’t implement them all. So I picked a few to be my core solutions and TSheets is one of those solutions. It’s so awesome that I can’t keep it to myself. So read on to find out 5 reasons why I love this app so much.
- QuickBooks Integration
Accounting is a very task driven industry so the least amount of keystrokes we can do the better. Especially keying in timesheets. Trying to follow the rows across and making sure you picked up everyone’s hours and keyed them in correctly only to find out you missed a row somewhere can drive you bananas. Well the awesome thing about TSheets is that it syncs directly to your QuickBooks online or desktop file. It not only exports the approved time, but it also imports your employee list and customer list so you don’t have to key those in either. Never key in another time sheet – EVER AGAIN. - Mobile Ability
Working in a service based business, we don’t typically punch a clock. But we still need to track our hours to ensure our jobs and projects are profitable. Many of our clients are in a field where they need to track hours too. The cool thing about TSheets is that you have the ability to clock in and out from anywhere. You can clock in and out from your office, car or jobsite. You can even text your time in or tweet it! No other time tracking system lets you do that. And if you’re logged in too long, you can set it to prompt you to clock out after a certain time. It’s 6:00pm, have you clocked out yet?
- GPS Tracking
If your business requires your team to travel around then the GPS tracking will be the feature you love best. Whenever an employee clocks in from the mobile app, the GPS tracker automatically clicks on and tracks their location. So you will know exactly where they were when they started working. As the administrator you can log into the online app and actually see a map of their exact location. No more siphoning time before they actually reach their destination or worse saying they were one place when they really are at another.
- Vendor Access
Another cool thing is that not only can your employees clock in and out, but so can your subcontractors. You no longer have to wonder if your contractor is really working on your accounts because you can give them a login as well. Then you simply click on “who’s working” to see if they are logged in or not. And even better you now have your own time log that matches their bill – one that you have faith in that it’s accurate.
